Sometimes we want to wear summer garments all year round. Today we are going to see awesome ways how to wear maxi skirts and dresses this Winter 2018. Most of maxi skirts and gowns are light and extremely comfortable. They look great with almost anything, starting from blazers to sweaters.
It’s winter outside and we have to rid of all our summer clothes. But it doesn’t mean we have to forget about maxi gowns and skirts. You can get them back on the racks. I gathered my favorite street style images of women who appear wearing gorgeous maxis covered with chunky knits, completed in warm layers, etc. Read on to see my favorite tips and tricks.
The first thing is to create warm layers. It’s very important if you want to revamp your closet for winter. It doesn’t mean you have to create big and oversized layers. All you need is to feel warm, that’s why you shouldn’t sacrifice with your style. For instance, you can wear a tank top underneath striped sweater that is topped with a denim jacket and completed with a maxi skirt that can be paired with tights underneath. As you can see, layers make you look beautiful and sweet.
Be sure to wear awesome colors, as you can go with a violet maxi skirt, green-mustard sweater, and black puffer jacket. If you like chunky knits, then I recommend to try on those heavy knitwear tops and pair them with maxi skirts or dresses. This combo will make you look casual and cute.
If you don’t want to add many layers, then the best way is to buy a long-sleeved maxi dress. As we all know, maxis are usually made with no sleeves, that’s why long sleeved designs are often made from warm and heavy materials.
You can always make them look great by adding a jacket and chunky knit scarf. If you are going to wear maxi skirt or gown in winter, then the best footwear to add is heavy boots. Of course, these shoes gonna make you look a bit edgy but very special. If you do want to add more edginess to your outfit, then I advise you to add a leather jacket. This piece gonna make your outfit look rock and roll inspired.
