Winter is not over and it seems like we should be prepared for frosty weeks. That’s why I decided to show you simple tips and tricks how to update your winter 2018 wardrobe. I hear ladies who say that cold weather has limited clothing choices. Believe me, they are totally wrong. This is an ideal season to show your stylist’s capabilities and survive winter stylishly and comfortably. Keep on scrolling down your mouse to see all my favorite layering techniques and garments to add to your Winter wardrobe.
A cashmere sweater is a must-have piece in your cold season closet. Of course, the good quality piece is quite expensive, but it’s an ideal investment that will serve you for decades. It’s comfy and warm piece. Believe me, it’s a timeless sweater that will never go out of style. I recommend buying neutral or earth hue styles that can be incorporated into formal and casual bottoms and jackets. You can keep a Tomboyish look by sporting a beige-grey sweater tucked in pastel-brown slacks or keep your outfit look flirty and sweet by teaming white cashmere top with flannel shorts, opaque tights, and high lace-up boots. If you love layering looks, then you should try on a cozy vest. It’s a perfect piece to keep yourself warm and original. Personally, I love fur vests. They look glamour and ideal for layering my smart-casual separates. Another warm and stylish pieces to wear are leather garments. It can be leather pants, skirt, jacket, vest or even coat. I hear lots of women saying faux leather is much more cheaper and it keeps you warm the same as real one, but they are not right. The qualitative pleather costs the same as real leather. If you want to wear skirts and dresses during cold months, then you should add thick and opaque leggings or tights. This is a great way to show off your feminine look during the winter season. Go for black, warm leggings and style them with a cozy long-sleeve thick knitwear dress or pair them with an elongated chambray shirt and a cozy sweater to look like a real hipster. If you are sick of bonnets and beanies, then you should try a sweet looking alternative called fleece headband. It’s a thick headgear that allows you to cover your ears. Today’s fashion offers bright and ladylike styles in sweet hues and cute embellishments.
