The winter ain’t going anywhere. This time we are going to see my favorite cold weather fashion trends you can use this year. It’s an ideal time for bundling up in warm and cozy outerwear garments. You might say it’s impossible to look both trendy and comfy, well, everything is possible. I’ve got several gorgeous fashion trends that will make you still look stylish despite the cold weather. Anyway, keep on reading to find them all. Believe me, they are super cute and totally worth a try.
The first trend is called winter white. Most of us wear dark colors that dominate during cold seasons. I think you should try to wear light hues, especially monochromatic white outfits. Give it a try. Believe me, you gonna feel yourself like a princess from some kind of winter wonderland fairytale. If you think the totally white look is too much for you, then you can break the monotony by adding dark color outerwear garment.
If you want to brighten up your look with prints, then the best choice is floral prints. I remember to see florals only in summer and spring seasons, but today everything has changed. This is a perfect way to underline your individuality. Of course, I recommend wearing this print in darker shades. You can go for abstract floral skinny pants and pair them with lace-up boots and camel tailored wool coat. Personally, I love to see ladies wearing this print in a kind of retro way, by teaming roses print skirt with green-black buffalo checkered coat, opaque black tights, black wedge booties and red beret. Speaking of bright prints, then there is another great way to add colors to your cold season outfit, and it’s tartan and plaid pattern. Most of us think these prints are the same, but they do have slight differences. Anyway, it’s so much fun to mix them with solid color garments or pulling off head to toe tartan/ plaid looks. You can try on a plaid wool coat and wear it with a mustard knitted beanie, crispy white sweater with polka dotted shirt underneath and skinny jeans. If you are a beginner to this print, then the best way is to sport plaid print accessories. How about wearing a big tartan scarf styled with a cool black cape-coat, leather black skinny trousers, and velvet black ankle-boots. Our next stop is an oversized coat. This is a statement outerwear garment that makes you look individual and feel comfortable and warm. There are lots of different styles to try this year. You can go for an oversized coat in plain solid color or keep things bright and loud by choosing a printed design. Make sure the rest of your outfit has a slim silhouette. It’s very important to balance out the volume from your big coat. Some say it’s impossible to wear skirts in winter. I think it’s possible to show off your flirty and feminine side by adding heavy tights or leggings underneath your favorite skirt. You can try on full maxis as well as shorter styles.
Black and white is still in fashion! We see a black blouse tucked in white full mini skirt completed with black tights and black ankle boots embellished with fur. Check out my personal favorite full skirts collection that can easily make you look elegant and feminine.
